Michelle Wonsley-Ford’s work focuses on developing a nuanced critical racial equity analysis of theory, history, and contemporary events, understanding organizations both as systems and communities, and coaching competency-based behavior change to create racially just institutions. Her nearly 20-year career has been focused in the consulting, education and non-profit management sectors executive leadership positions in both local and national non-profits. Most recently she served as the Senior Vice president, People Operations at DonorsChoose.org, and then as the founder of LondonPlane Advisory, a consultancy that supports senior leaders in education in developing racial equity leadership competence.

Michelle is also a proud alumna of Prep for Prep, The Brearley School and Management Leadership for Tomorrow. She is a past President of the Junior League or Brooklyn and is currently a board member for the Sadie Nash Leadership Project, a program dedicated to empowering the leadership of young women and non-binary youth. Michelle earned a B.A in Literature from Spelman College, and both an M.B.A. and a Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations, with a labor economics concentration from Cornell University, where she was a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow and SUNY ILR Fellow, engaged in an individualized course of study on effective and ethical leadership.

Michelle Wonsley-Ford
