Faith McIver has a decade of communications and marketing experience in agency and four years of DEI program management experience. She prides herself on being a culturally responsive communicator, unearthing creative insights and building relationships across industries. She has embraced the jill-of-all-trades mantra, being versatile and adept in and outside corporate America, working on projects and programs related to DEI, Tech, Entertainment, Sports and more.

As the Senior DEI Manager at Edelman, Faith is responsible for Global ERG operations and engagement, internal inclusive marketing, communications and executive positioning, and external diverse partnership engagement, among other things. Over the last four years, Faith has produced numerous programs and DEI learning engagements to drive diverse staff recruitment, retention and engagement globally and nationally. A few examples include building Edelman's first-ever virtual Educators Summits, the firm’s annual Global Week of Belonging, and launching the firm's DEI-focused podcast, Authentic 365. She also provides client counsel around DEI program strategies as requested.

Before rejoining Edelman, Faith garnered most of her experience working cross-practice at Hill & Knowlton Strategies (H+K) in Washington, D.C., supporting crisis corporate communications and public affairs accounts. Her general focus was providing strategic counsel and support around media relations, event planning, content creation, social media, and competitive research and analysis for clients in the technology, government, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors.

Outside of her corporate 9 to 5, Faith is also known as a freelance Publicist for various events and award shows such as the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, Urban One Honors, among others. She's also supported lifestyle brands such as DTLR and Broccoli City on special media and integrated marketing communications (IMC) projects. She recently led the "Black carpet" for Jrue and Lauren Holiday's Inaugural Dual Court Classic, an initiative part of the Jrue & Lauren Holiday (JLH) Social Impact Fund and partnership with the Kinship Advisors.

Faith is active in the community through volunteering with local and national organizations such as the ColorComm Network, Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She's also a former All-Star Cheerleading coach who spent three years working with Crimson Heat All-Stars in Forestville, MD. In 2020, she was named Women of Excellence Rising Star by Working Mother Media.

Faith earned a master's degree in integrated marketing communications from Georgetown University and a bachelor's degree in public relations from Florida A&M University. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
