We're making all of the content available to registrants on-demand via the Video Recap link. We are also offering a free webpass for any new registrants who want to find out what they missed. We hope to see you again next year at our 2022 event!

Where Are The Black People is an annual conference that exists to address and correct the scarcity of people of color within the advertising industry. Since 2011, WAATBP has brought together Black voices from within the advertising community — from eager students and juniors to C-suite leaders — to celebrate successes, highlight setbacks, and demand their rightful place at the table alongside their allies.

Keynote speaker

AMBER RUFFIN

Emmy Award-winning host, writer and performer Amber Ruffin was this year's keynote speaker! She helped kick things off live on Wednesday, September 29th at 11am EDT and talked about her meteoric rise to fame and the lessons she learned along the way.
